Last week, I explained how to make a journal from upcycled paper. Today, I’m sharing another way to use that paper. Gelli® print (http://gelliarts.blogspot.com/) with it! I love using paper that has text printed on it because it shows through a little. Then you can use your Gelli® Plate to build layers of paint with stencils and stamps. You can do this technique without a Gelli® Plate as well!
I took some of the prints and cut them into circles to make these cards. The circles provide a bold graphic element that offsets the simple greetings.
I can’t wait to send these cards to some friends that live far away from me!
I received permission to use the Gelli® trademark, which is owned by Gelli Arts® LLC for this purpose.
